Hey gang I know this might sound like a stupid question but a friend of mine really likes something on the Coronado Freightliner. There's a rail that goes from the front wheel to the back fender underneath the stairs and fuel tanks. Below is an image. Does anyone know what that piece is called?![]()
What are these called?

What is he going to do with this information? Is he going to retrofit it to another truck?

Hi Joe, we just called it a side step, or years ago, they were mounted to the fuel tank strap, so we called them tank step too. Or running board, but that's more like an old car, with a wide step. Now you can't ask a question like that without telling us why. Did you figure out your hose and light cord dilemma? Maybe you could move that whole vertical stand east a little to some new holes, if there's enough extra line underneath. Years ago, we just had a "pogo stick" (metal rod on a spring) mounted to a frame cross brace.BoxCarKidd and JoeF2002 Thank this.

Yeah I think he wants to add something like this to his Peterbuilt. Figured I'd try to help steer him in the right direction
