What are your experiences inside the cab?

    Not much to show, I keep my truck pretty empty. Unlike a lot of OTR guys I straddle between regional & local. I might go overnight 2 days a week but most times I'm home every night. (When you factor in the commute, I probably drive more than an OTR guy, which is why I drive a sleeper. If I'm tired or at a long load/unload I can sack out for a bit.)

    A few books to read, a few changes of clothing, a set of bedding, some water & snacks.

    What I really don't understand is why truck manufacturers bury gauges and switches where they can't be seen. I can't read my fuel gauge without moving the steering wheel. And our straight trucks bury the headlight switch down by the knees.
