:0 brief thread hijack- this week I ran 1135 total miles between Tuesday 8am and 3pm today. 298 deadhead. Grossed $4,075. All within 120 miles of the house. Total tolls $110. Legal flatbed freight. Everyones numbers are indeed different, I'm astonished that anyone would work so hard (3,000 miles) for so little. I'm not even doing that well compared to many. My God. Know what you're worth.
Sir I hope the 350.00 per week was either sarcasm or you miss placed a decimal point, you could make more money picking up aluminum cans on the side of the road in less time, and be home every night!
Reading is fundamentally important. I have stated that the $350 is AFTER ALL EXPENSES. That means ALL bills have been paid including payroll and quarterly taxes. Putting it in perspective, I have a brand new truck with full warranty and $6k in the maintenance account. If you can show me how picking up cans is better please enlighten me.
Read and comprehended your post soon after you posted it. $350 a week that's a really good profit imo. If you manage to save any of your wages then it's even better.
#### you guys are killin it out there. I guess Im just in it for the fun of driving a big truck. 12k miles $12,000 net pay 36 days on the road...
Yes sir, both truck and trailer. I know everyone calculates net differently, thats mine after fuel, insurance, company take and immediate maintenance.
Avg $1/mile aint bad. With my current mpg, IF the truck were paid for we would less than a 3% difference in the net. Rock on Brother, I will be there soon enough.
