Be thankful if you get 1 that does not STINK like a garbage dump ( and FEBREEZE will not CLEAN IT ) and the windows go up & down and stay up or down.

    I think you are mistaken.

Aren't the wheels on the bus that go round and round, and the people on the bus go up and down????

Your bio states that you, like me, are still a student. My rookie advice is to not worry about creature comforts but make sure you pass your CDL pemit and then get your CDL.
A CDL A is your meal ticket for life!

Like Gizmo said, WAIT until you are issued your truck. Then get up in there with your little measuring tape and figure out what you can stuff in there!

Gizmo is right in that you need to avoid the truck stops! Yes its more convenient but at twice the price! Walmart has the exact same crap! Definitely stay away from the truck dealers! Now that a 500% mark up! Nothing like an over priced Volvo refrigerator just because it fits exactly in the hole! If you really want to go nutz go to an RV superstore! All kinds of goodies there!

Definitely wait though because some of the trucks are set up night and day from one another. Every time we bought a different truck we threw out most of our stuff because it didn't fit in the new truck. I know you are anxious but there is an infinite number of other things you can start preparing yourself with.

:biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_2559: Haven't been reading these forums much , have you ? Ever heard of a negative DAC or newbies telling f half their peers getting the boot at orientation or rejected by a trainer ?
How do you explain carriers constantly bringing wannabes into orientation ?

I think now is the time you need to invest in some defensive driving books since you will not get any of that in school. Concentrate on being the best "Professional" driver you can be before you think about any toys.
