What can i do? 1 year older

its not like that, he's no buddy lol. i just think because he knows my disability he won't dismis me without giving a fair exam. he is a doctor. and therefor has a duty to look out for what he thinks best.

i know its not all fun and games. i know that just because i drive thru miami its a vacation. its hard work. i watched my uncle come home from trips beaten and battered and tired and smelly and rank. but he kept doing it every day. because he loved it. i'm the same.

i know what a real truckers look like. your solders, you do battle with traffic, gas, weather, and emotional stress. please don't act like you know me. i'm tough. i find ways to get #### done. i will fight to drive. its what i love. i was made to be up in my kenworth w900L 500 HP CAT autoshift with roll on playing in my ear. i can do it.

 

so i have sat on my ### for 2 days, forreal i've gotten up 3 times from my computer to move my truck, eat and go to the bathroom, i've been scanning everything. i've come to to some good stuff, 1 is i learned the words to tom petty's running down a dream. 2 is i think i could pull this off. i read this on a truckers forum i've been askin questions on for a few years.

"I have met a couple of drivers that were paraplegics. They had their trucks modified with a "crane" to lift them and their chairs in and out of their trucks. I have heard of a few with prosthetic arms/hands as well. They got the necessary "waivers".

can u imagine the #### they went through when they said i wanna drive. pardon my english, i'm to tired to type politely.

if a paraplegic can drive than i see no reason why i can't.

i've studied the 34. 49 clause from hell like one of my textbooks. well thats bad. but i did read it about 100 times
and it keeps talking about being impaired. like i'm drunk. these are all technicalities. its all interferes with and impaires but if i got up in a truck and started.... wait let me go through the check list as i seen in a few vids. say a trailer was on my king pin. i would go and plug the hookups in as i observed they do in the vids. no prob i would have with that. then go lock the back of trailer. which the loaders do but just to prove a point i can stand on one foot and latch the latches as i seen its not a big deal. then go to lower the trailer using the crank, still no problem.

moving on to truck inspection. lift the hood. haha i stopped for an hour tryin to figure that one out. i think all i had to do is make a pole with a hook. which i can operate with my hand. so still no impairment. then up into the cab. i can operate all the switches, lights, air controls. and most importantly, i can drive with no mods. aside from the actual getting job part i just see no reason why they would refuse me in fact if they did i'd probably look into a lawsuit. idk lol

 

haha ya obviously i'd need a auto shift. i'm lookin at kenworth brand. what does NT stand for. i assume the other guy was complimenting my truck?

so i'm putting 100% into driving. dropped out of college, i'm handicap but god #### i'm a working man. i need some advice about DOT and trucking tests and stuff, can you tell me how i could go about contacting someone to take like a pre test before i go further, i really think as soon as i show someone they won't think twice about passing me.
