What causes this APU problem

    So no one thinks it’s the coil not defrosting properly in humid weather?

    Yes, that was replaced at the thermo king

    The first problem is you're getting it worked on by Thermo King.

    There's only two in the entire nation that I think are worth a hoot. Tucson and SLC. The rest just wad up 100 dollar bills and throw them out the window.

    Well took it to another company terminal and they replaced the temperature sensor in the coil. This solved it for about a couple weeks, then all of a sudden the AC died and the acs error indicator came on. Now the apu AC won’t even work for one minute.

    Long story short they put me in a different truck, and it’s got the same apu issue where the A/C cuts out in the middle of the night.

    I’m about ready to throw in the towel.

    I take mine, and the other trucks, to a place here locally called Arizona Laser Alignment and Truck Repair. They are APU masters, and keep ours working tip top. Very reasonable too.

    Actually located in Glendale. Like 51st Ave and Bethany Home Road. Just Google them. Appointment recommended.
