I was wondering what kind of a CB would work in my situation. I deliver trucks for a local dealership up and down the east coast. I physically drive the trucks to their drop off point and fly back. I am looking for a CB that I could use while on the road. I can’t wire them into the truck and would have to be able to take it on the flight back. Not sure if there is anything out there and if so, would it even work well enough to hear anyone or them to hear me. Thanks for any input.

Bag phone type...Get you a bag or briefcase, stick a small cb inside, something like a Uniden 520xl, and a magnetic antenna, then just pull it out, plug into a cigarette lighter port and your good to go...Just set the radio in the seat next to you or leave in the briefcase or bag...Not the best of set-ups, but will work. I knew a guy who use to travel quite a bit and this is what he did...He even had a small little 50w amp inside the case for a little extra kick.

You should be able to find a better price. I think I paid $75 for mine a couple years ago
