What counts as a preventable accident?

    So these guys with 3 million safe driving miles have never put a scratch on anything.

    I don't know. for years the only time I scratched something. the insurance company would always total it. lol

    It's a reportable inncedent,but it won't show on your dac,only with your current company.

    Years ago the Safety guy at PAM said their policy was, if it costs the company money, it's preventable.

    Back when I was a den mother for a group I was told by the owner to write everyone up on any little infraction so as a reason for termination was handy.

    The way some states labor laws are, I can honestly see the reasoning for that line of thinking.
    At least a hand is ready to fire when you need to, instead of having to keep one two more weeks, costing you bucks every day.

    Everyone was in the same boat, as soon as the time comes the door is opened and slammed quick and with this country as soon as it is found a cheaper way that way is taken. There is no loyalty on either side.
