Yes I been pulled in by CT scales a few times they shut me down once but once again it was my own fault. Guess I just been lucky been treated well over the years. But again I never asked why they pulled me in just figured it was there job to pick a truck to check out.

I've received my share of citation's, A couple of them had attitudes, but dealing with what they deal with I would no doubt be worse.

Some of the tickets were written in error of the law. All in all they have been fair and in general reflect back a similar attitude that you give them. I don't argue with them even if they are incorrect, they will simply write you for something you were doing. And if they were incorrect I the court a better place for the debate, and at least you have a chance there.

I've had my share of both sides of the line. A few real pricks and some that were very professional. Most of the ones I have ever dealt with pretty good people. I have heard some stories about things but most of the time I take it with a grain of salt because it sounds to much like bs to not be. I have seen some tickets that people I know have gotten that I fell over in laughter about though. Like my friend who drives a company truck that's governed at 63 and some hot shot right out of the academy wrote him a ticket for 78mph :biggrin_2559:. Needless to say that got thrown out immediately when the judge found out. Are all DOT and State Troopers professional and honest? Not a chance, but neither are all the idiots they deal with day in and day out. I think that the majority of them are good honest people. I figure they are like truck drivers or any other "group" of people, there is a few that give the rest of the good ones a black eye and bad reputation.

On another note though I have had a lot more bad experiences with city cops then any DOT or State Troopers. Most city cops think they are some kind of super hero or something I'm not exactly sure why but it sure seems that way.

Nope its cause they are pissed off. The City kitty is almost at the bottom of the food chain. O wait he is. In Georgia where i live the police food chain goes from bottom to top City, County, State Trooper, DNR, DOT. I thought it was real funny when told that by 2 different officers one DOT and one county.

Speaking from knowledge aka gut feeling LOL. Most of the City cops I know "personally", that fit your Super Hero picture. Are under educated, and delusional.

I know these guys, and they are good guys in most respects. But they're nuts. They dream of walking up the ladder to the CIA or FBI, with NO real education.

Or, being part of an elite swat team and blowing some poor idiots brains out, while saving the world.

Failing that, they just become complete ###holes.

A better question is why did you let D.O.T hemn you up? Why didn't you have your act together when you hit a scale?

Don't blame them for doing their job just because you aint doing yours..
