12 years open pit mining and hot mix asphalt. I used to make the stuff I will be driving on.

Radio announcer, 13 years. Tried sales for a time before getting my CDL. Left trucking for 3 1/2 years and managed a busy bowling center. Would have been better had I owned it. As it was, too much baby-sitting. Been driving again for 3 years as of tomorrow and enjoy it overall....

    ...sure beats baby-sitting!

I changed by choice. My husband and I wanted to spend our time together. Life is short.
I am not giving up my nursing license. I am moved over to the part time position that allows me to set my own schedule. My only requirements are to work 24 shifts a year, including one major and one minor holiday, and one weekend shift.
But, due to the economy, I have noticed a change in the hopital setting that I worked in. There used to be 6 pages of nursing jobs available just at my facility. Now there are only 4 jobs posted. Also, they have cut staffing, cut benefits, and are tightening supplies.

Last 15 yrs as mortgage loan officer for major national banks.
(They are all corrupt, the higher you go, the more corrupt they become.)

Claims rejecter for Prudential healthcare 3 yr, bill collector 5 yr , factory mechanic, carpenter, slaughter house mechanic 2 yrs (very interesting job, you work on EVERYTHING that don't moo or oink!) 5 years trucking crude oil in west Texas some van before that.

Want to retire from driving, not good at kissing ### to get a loan referrals. Don't let me get started-LOL!

Exactly right! This sentence probably holds true everywhere. I ever talked with our Provost, who seemed to be an intellect with integrity. However, our conversation (closed door) showed me that she was just a politician and good actress.

A Marine, a cop, a Marine again (retired), a hospital director and safety officer, a short stint as a stae emergency planner and now I'm ready for something completely new. An OTR driver and hopefully in a few years an OO.
