I just go to a company that is hiring & talk to the drivers that are working there & pick the one's that are about 6 months there they give most of the truth. I have even walked in & asked about there equipment first & even walked through there yard checking it out. I was told i was kind of bold & my answer was" I have to drive it live in it I want some kind of idea up front what this company is all about buy checking equipment.

Only reason I got into trucking as well. Desperately needed a place to live and make enough money to pay bills. Couldn't afford rent under my last salary.

I was an aircraft mechanic for 21 years, I have been a car salesman, and my last permanent gig I was a Logistics/Warehouse Mgr for a commercial audio/video distro company. I trucked for a little over 2 years in the mid 90's and I'm getting ready to get back into it.

That sounds exciting, how do you become that? Could you recommend a site that teaches you how to be a commercial fisher?
