Not a "trucker" yet, in school. Having said that, I spent 15 years putting people on home oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy, etc. Generally speaking, taught patients and families how to use purchased or rented respiratory related home medical equipment and supplies... Got fired for being too individualistic, perhaps, didn't think much of putting on a front just to make people think my company was something it wasn't and it did start to show, now that I think about it. What it was was just another pharmacy with a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) department. What it wasn't was unique. Soooo, sheeet, gunna drawve me a troook and (spits here) stuff like 'at. I'm gunna miss the 45-52K/yr working 8-5 tho. Drag. However, I get to get out and about, make at least half of what I was making while working twice the hours in a much less safe environment and not being home but maybe once every few weeks for a day or three... Yay! But hell, me's gunna drawve a trook and not wurrie bout spelln nothn or grammer'n sentences. I's gunna insult the newbies in a few yars, too, even if indarektly.

Small aircraft pilot and aircraft mechanic . I doubled my pay the first year I drove a truck. I had more money in the bank one after I started driving than I made my last year with airplanes and my trucking pay that first year would not attract envy from any current driver.
