yea child support can rape you lol but believe it or not me and my ex get along great now that were not together lol my payments are not to bad 280 or so a month...as for your situation wolf the payment will stay the same unless you go through court for an adjustment and no she doenst need to be there its not up to her. if your making less she gets less its the way it works but only if you go through the courts or maybe even the place the child support goes through may depend on your state.

I went to school originally to be a journalist/author specializing in crimes. While in college, I worked on some newspapers, had some things published, but never really clicked. Got a degree in Criminal Justice specializing in deviant behaviors. So now what do I do? Somehow I ended up working in the engineering field with various automotive companies. I did that for almost ten years and the automotive companies were the first to fall. I went back to college, got a post baccalaureate in paralegal studies and worked as a litigator for the past ten years. Loved litigation, as I got to write, and basically investigate, with tons of accounting. I worked on some great and not so great cases. Did quite a few divorces, but mainly handled collections, high dollar corporate collection, surety cases and bankruptcy. (Yes, I have a thing for creditor's rights). I've even worked with a very famous actor's family and his cousin, who is also an actor. Took some time off last last year when a friend asked me to help out dispatching. It was going to only be a temporary thing, when I feel in love with what I it. So, here I am, one year later, still doing this temporary job. Oh, and anyone who knows me can tell you, I am a type A personality.

An impending case of acute starvation.
I won't bore you with the details ... suffice to say it's a long and sordid tale. Which, sadly, much to my chagrin, utter despair and everlasting regret did not involve any midgets. But no animals were harmed. Everyone else should be fine, after they complete intense therapy and many years of ongoing counseling.

Originally we settled on $327 a month, a difference now is that im making half the pay and im remarried with another child so my expenses are more. As long as Swift gives me the miles to make ends meat then I can just setup to have something like $75 a week given with the child support program, I havent paid child support for a few months. After I lost my job I resorted to using all my savings, credit cards etc to keep my family going, I finally had to suck up my pride and resort to government assistance, the welfare people actually told me to stop paying and they gave me custodial custody. Right now im just trying to get out of this hole I have been in but need to start paying again once Swift hurries up and gets me my truck.

@ Mystic I always enjoy your sense of humor, its a little different and entertaining :)

I just learned recently that if you are behind on child support in Texas, the state can revoke your license. Once that happens you have to take all tests again, driving and written to regain your CDL.

Other states do it as well, I talked with a guy who had his license suspended and he didnt even know about it until he drove into a terminal and they wouldnt let him leave, he had to go through all kinds of crap to get it fixed he said.
Right now im not behind since they told me to halt paying but now that im back to work I need to get it going shortly again before something did end up happening, it would be stupid of her to go get my license taken since then I cant make money period but she isnt the brightest of them all....
