I have a tire thumper. It should probably be more properly called a seal breaker, since (I know it is bad...) I break more seals with it than thumping tires... Yeah, barehanded is only for those trying to prove how macho they are...

lately i have been making home made pizza, buying the dough, rolling it out etc. i have found that adding a little bit of vegetable oil gets the crust a little crispy and makes it cook better. so today i figured i'd put a bunch on the pizza pan today and see what it did. well what it did was catch my pizza on fire and burnt the crust to #### and my cheese hadnt even melted all the way.
today i learned you should not put a lot of vegetable oil on a pizza pan.AZS Thanks this. -
Ouch Walstib! It's a good idea to keep a leatherman tool right on your dashboard. Use the pliers on it to twist off the metal seals. Just keep twirling it until it snaps. While you are back there always stand to the side and open your doors slowly. A lot of people get hurt from freight falling out and landing on them!

Today I leaned that AT&T doesn't appreciate the fact that their customers are downloading movie after movie using an aircard. I also learned that they will suspend your air card after the 4th full length movie downloaded.

I learned last week that I need to learn to relax when things happen.
For example: I took a load of Douglas Firs to 3 different Home Depots here in the Phoenix area. I was held accountable for keeping a tally of how many each store took off the truck as each one got different counts of each size. Well, the guy in receiving took my paperwork and lost it, but for only a few moments. Turns out he gave it to another employee who left the store to go home and apparently forgot to hand it back to me. I was angry inside, trying not to show it, and keep a professional attitude, but I think it showed outwardly... and I am sure the employees unloading the trailer saw my distaste in them being somewhat careless with my BOL.
In retrospect, it was really not that big of a deal, not warranting an angry response. They called the employee that had it, and the paperwork came back within 5 minutes and all was good. -
Thanks! I haven't heard a world about it and neither has my fleet manager. I just asked him. So who know???? -
