Record a video 'annonomysly' and post it on YouTube. That's what everyone else seems to do these days .... or just try to suck it up, do your best, and know, deep down, like boot camp, that it won't last forever.
SL ( ex military ) -
My instructor yelled so much at me the first couple of days (I was horrible) that he became hoarse (sp?) and had to ease off. -
First I've been through boot-camp with the Army. Yelling is used to intimidate. Why would an instructor want someone behind the wheel to feel intimidated? Is he/she that insecure, that whomever they deal with must be made to feel inferior to them? If so then you must let them know that you're not intimidated by them. If you're wondering would I have done this in boot-camp, no not even, would have been the worse butt-kicking in my life.
Now the school should have rules/policies for the students, mine did. One of the policies, if you have an issue with one of the instructors, contact the administrator to get it resolved. So now doing the big no-no, assuming that this student had a similar rule/policy, they should have read, why would they not have done this? If they can't read simple instructions like that, well.....
I've known people that had a bad habit of yelling at you when they're the least bit upset. Guess what, after being told in a way that they understood, ie; getting back in their face, standing up to them, they suddenly changed, AND respected you for having a pair and standing up to them. For some unknown reason, they think they need to test you in that regard too, don't know why, but they do.
Now in reality, if that would have happened in my school, then yes, I would have talked to the administrator first.
Lastly, I know how to handle very heated confrontations, and yes, it is not by yelling back. Quite the opposite, talking very calm and quietly. Surprisingly they tend to mimick that. Now in an adult school, training setting, the instructor is waaaayyyy out of line. I still may have got right in his face, just to let him know, I'm no little whimp for him to stomp all over. -
Sounds like he is nuts. I hate to say this, but alot of Drivers are nuts. Driving a truck will cause the most sane person to blow a fuse. Still, that is no excuse. It is absolutely incredible to hear something like this. I would go straight to the Boss and demand either a change in instructor or your money back.

It appears the majority prefer the non-confrontational approach, speaking first to the school administrator or director.
This is a mistake, in my experience.
Let us place the shoe on the other foot. If you make a mistake, step out of line, lose your temper, have a disagreement, etc; you then want the other person to run to your boss instead of speaking first with you.
If I step out of line, I would rather the person first speak with me. Maybe I'm out-of-touch or old fashioned. -

My instructor yelled also. I just asked her, yes her, if she yelled because we scared her or was she trying to scare us? She said three things..... 1) she yelled only when she wanted everyone in the truck to pay attention and hear what she was saying. Sometimes you learn more watching the other person drive and make mistakes. 2) she felt yelling increased your urgency to do what she needed you to do. And 3) if you couldn't take her yelling and were the nervous type, you might rethink driving for a living. Her words not mine.
By the end of training she rarely yelled at any of us.
Just ask him why he's yelling. Pretty simple. Don't let it get to you til you really know why. Then you'll be able to take the next course of action. If needed.
Good luck. -

I went to ft worth and a woman there jumped on the running board and started screaming one day. I started laughing and she screamed louder. I finally got mad and told her where to put it and she shoock my hand and said " you'll do !" pretty funny though
