What do i need to change a wheel?

    Where could I get a torque multiplier like that and what would it cost? Looks like less weight in the sidebox compared to what beltrans posted in his link. The ones he posted are all I've ever seen actually.

    Motor Wheel offered the 8 hole uni-mounts. A few large fleets used them (Roadway was one)... one of the reason's was to keep others from stealing their wheels/tires both while on the truck and when using a truck stop or tire dealers "mounted wheel program"...

    Ok, the torque multiplier things are great, but can they also read torque when you are putting the nuts back on.

    Also, let's say you need to do it to the drives----the nuts are so far in there. How would this work?


    What about suggestions for jacks?

    Use a torque wrench with the multiplier. Set it at the desired torque divided by the rate of multiplication.

    As has been stated already, use a socket extension. Support one end with a jackstand or something.

    This is very basic of wrenching. I recommend one of your wrench-fluent friends to come out to supervise you.
