Say I want to move a shipping container (20', 40', HQ's, etc) to a receiver without any equipment to unload it... What exactly do I need equipment wise?

They used to load shipping containers on the floor. Back in those days all you needed was a strong back. If you mean to remove the shipping container from the chassis, a large forklift or crane if I am reading your question right?

Empty ones can be unloaded with a farm lift, loaded you may need a crane

If the can is on a step deck 2 relatively small wreckers can pick it up and truck pulls out. Been there. Done that.

You need to tell receiver the time you will be arriving so they can have either a crew or equipment to unload, confused why someone would order stuff with no way to take it.

If you mean to unload the container (You did not state what was in it) by hand you need a strong back. Off the tailgate.

It is not smart to have a big truck and trailer come deliver to a place where there is no dock or means to handle the freight.

You want a swinglift trailer. Very rare in the USA, very common rest of the world.
