If you have a game plan, it's likely to change. When unforeseen circumstances occur, prepare to alter where your going to sleep. When you get down to 2 hrs driving, you better start thinking about where to park. As for what you do when your 11 is up, go to sleep. The other 3 hrs is in theory for load/unload, fuel, pretrip/post trips

You know creatures like that they start complaining about us howling wolves now, we can only look and not touch anymore or else there might be another movement.

If your 11 hours will be up at night, don't count on finding a place to park at a truck stop. Most fill up at sunset. It pays to plan ahead and giving yourself some options on where to stay when the day is over.

At the end of my 11 hr. clock, I have myself officially fired. Then I can continue to drive for as long as needed (as I am no longer "working" in a professional capacity, but am officially unemployed).

It is best to pull the second electronic log out and keep going.

This is how I run my day. I'll get up one hour before I have to leave for the day trip. I cant stress this enough. Plan Plan Plan
Eat some breakfast High protien low carb is best.
get out of for at least a 15 min. walk.
get back and Plan my day whare I need to del.
set up a plan on whare to park for the night.
If you deliver that day look for parking around it if you got no preplan.
At the end of the day you'll have time for your hobbie
    Have fun out there
    enjoy your life...

Customers will use all of your time. It's seldom an issue of not having anything to do with left over hours. Loads are scheduled as if it takes 3 minutes to load/unload, all of the paperwork is printed and waiting for the driver to sign, and all employees are competent and present at work. Then the reality of waiting for LaQuinta and LoShando to get off of their phones and finish talking, and then deciding if there is enough time to find your paperwork since they only get two 30 minute breaks per hour and you are only 45 minutes early for your appointment, and then if the one forklift driver who's not on drugs came to work today. When you leave 3 hour late because they were late, you can be sure your customer waiting on that freight was told the truck driver left on time, he must be too lazy to be on-time for you.

Never remove the 150 mile exemption, how about kick it up to 200 or 250.
