Cheers to the good classic country. The junk that nashville pumps out today is pure trash.

I’m also a professional DJ. I crank up what I like real loud in my cab, then key up my big CB radio so everyone else within 8 miles must either succumb to my taste in music or turn off their CB and get busted by stopped traffic 15 miles ahead. I prefer to wait until when the winter weather gets real bad so I have a larger audience [of those who turned on their radios in an effort to gather road reports] then I can entertain them with my collection of Hank Williams Jr and senior, AC/DC, and Janis Joplin greatest hits

I usually visualize world peace, contemplate global domination, and then reach for my hazard lights as my truck begins to creep up the hill at 35-40 mph. Suddenly I remember my place in this world. o_O

I drive a lot, 3500 miles a week and I usually drive at night so rarely talk on phone. Music, listening to stand up comedy, and always thinking.

    I'm with"Pumpkin Oval Head".

I have the CB on, squelch up to keep the chatter to a minimum. Am/FM usually off.

Listen to the road noise, "become one with your truck", as in when a noise is heard you can tell if it's new or not. the tires sing, when the tune changes, it's could be a sign of a problem.

Been doing this OTR for over 30 yrs.

driving is serious business and you don't need to always be "doing" something to keep the boredom away.

maybe you should try city driving only, that's always interesting. lol

I'm trying to get a screen shot off the ipad to show you all what I saw - the title that is there shows up as "What do you do hours on end?", there is no "while driving" in the title on the stupid thing (I looked again), it had flaked out again. Last week on another forum it showed the title "how do you grease milk" which was "how do you grease an old milk separator". That iPad is possessed.
