I listen to black metal mostly. Throw in some death, grind, and some classic rock too. The intensity of the music keeps you pumped for the drive.

VierViertelTakt - Berg Und Talfahrt Der Gefühle
It is great driving music, for me.
Or any album by Drauf und Draun -
Listening to music tends to make me zone out, so I always listen to talk while I drive. Usually Road Dog, except during Jonesy or Rutherford; CNN, BBC World Service, or the radio classics. Never the political channels, absolutely hate them.

I listen to the truck, the engine, the rattles and I listen for anything unusual that may indicate a problem. In the background occasionally I hear, and try to tune out, the incessant chatter from my co-driver going on about something only he knows all about.

Netcasts I love, from people I trust.

I can remember when 8 track tape players were the hi-tech entertainment in trucks! It's so much nicer now! Siruis is the bomb!
