    We did that back when the old guard was still here. We all had each other’s phone numbers and would keep in touch in case of dispatcher stupidity like sending a guy out of his way to get something for whatever idiotic reason that somebody else is driving right past on his way home. Personal vendettas are also not out of the question for the office staff and it shows in dispatches because they know they can get away with it and nothing will ever be questioned.

    Very true. Nothing will kill a driver’s attitude faster than noticing that he’s working 12 hours every day doing double the workload of everyone else.

    It’s really been dumbed down considerably IMHO to where you have to really be trying to do it wrong.
