I just realized something. Trucking would be a lot more fun if you could just bobtail around the country with no trailer.

Recently dispatched bobtail (tractor-only, no trailer, drums) Indy-Detroit, drag an MT (empty trailer, meaning I was then deadheading, drums) to Elk Grove, IL, drag loaded trailer back to Detroit and bobtail back to Indy. I recommend the every day, all day, soul food buffet at Big Boy on Ferguson in Detroit. Service very good and food great. Chicken, BBQ ribs, okra, sweet potato, hush puppies, black beans with rice and much, much more. Gets my vote!
