Also they have their twitter locked, meaning they're hiding something, don't ever trust a company trying to be secretive on a "social" media platform. Just shows they're trying to hide bad reviews and negative comments because their company/product sucks.
What does experienced driver mean?!

You are a newby and any company who wants you to train other drivers, decline the position.Theres already too many newbies training newbies. An exp driver is a driver with one solid yr over the road.

couple months
let's make him president"semi" retired, G.Anthony, EZ Money and 2 others Thank this. -
Sorry pattyj, I disagree with the statement "An exp driver is a driver with one solid yr over the road."
I think it takes much more than 1 year. For starters, one year only gives a driver one winter season, hardly enough to really be 'experienced' in winter driving.
Also, even with one year under their belt, it takes at least another year or three (preferably) before they really get around to various driving, maneuvering, traffic, and weather scenarios to get a good grasp, all around.
I do agree that many trainers are severely unqualified, and imo, should have at least 5 yrs experience before training.Last edited: Mar 9, 2015

I referred that to what companies consider to be an experienced driver not what a driver considers to be an exp driver.
G.Anthony Thanks this. -
When you have 5 years with no accidents a few winters of driving on snow covered roads,,a couple years driving in the rocky mountains and some serious time driving the north east and delivering loads in cities then you are experienced,,oh forgot no accidents or moving violations too
You also must be able to figure out load distribution and safe routing,, -
5 year old threads aren't worth much, really.G.Anthony Thanks this.

OK, understood, and can agree, tho company standards have fallen in recent years, as it used to be common for many companies to require 2 years before considering a driver, for hiring purposes, was 'experienced'.
-
Yup. There's 'experienced' as in the wording found in ads and experienced as in what you've done in the driver's seat.

The way things are going, he's overqualified.
