what does grabbing gears mean???

    To me, there is only one meaning. To shift..means to shift. When i hear someone say "grabbing gears", it sounds like "...my ### needs to get from zero to 60 as fast as i can..."

    thats what i think of too when i hear grabbing gears. like they start haulin ###

    True, can be a lower gear as well. On the older trucks when they would run hot grabbing a gear meant going to a lower one.

    runnin full stack
    mashin and a gassin
    grabin gears and im all ears
    theres a million of them "Runnin Full Stack " is my personal favorite
