It means the truck is your home. Therefore, you are home every weekend!buddyd157 and bryan21384 Thank this.

It really means out anywhere from 2 weeks to a month at a time, and once a month, maybe twice, you'll go home for a 34-48. You'll get home anywhere from Friday morning to Saturday morning. Most of the time you'll leave out sometime Sunday. Every once in a while Monday

I like weekends, working most scales are closed.

The onky real answer is to be found by asking drivers at the company you want 5o work for. Each company is different, but their ads are usually identical. "We pay UP TO X cents per mile, value our drivers, and know your hometime is important." Their ads mean nothing. Company A is not going to give you more time at home just because most other companies give their drivers more time off.
In short, it doesn't matter what is average or reasonable, or normal for a group of trucking companies. If you sign up for 30 cents per mile and 1 say off per year, you volunterred for the butte sexe they want to give you. Make decisions like the outcome is important. It is. "Some guy on the internet said...." isn't going to improve a bad company. -
So I'm getting a real some companies are cool but most really mean the reset time required by law

In Friday, out Monday

It means home friday and don't leave til monday to me,but apparently it means home saturday afternoon leave sunday night to most these companies which is why I decided to go back local.
