Mine is just a shortened version of my longtime screen name, Richard Noggin. It's just who I am. :)

If you can't figure out where my screen name came from, push your call button and Tommy will come around and hit you in the head with a tack hammer because you are a ######.

hup .. its an old anronym from when I first started using computers in the 80s. It basically means "Hang-UP," like.. the phone. It made more sense when people used the phone lines to connect computers. I used to be a naughty boy, and caused a lot of trouble.. including forced hang-ups... Anyway, name stuck. I've been using it ever since.
