Seems Apollo ELD is an App, not a true ELD that connects to the ECM... It is simply a electronic logging app... would not qualify under the regulation..

Keeptruckin is also not a true eld yet. They will have an interface cable to make them legal once the actual peramiters are issued. Right now there is still no defined peramiters for what will be required for December is my understanding.

That's how it works. The mfgs self-certify.

That's who I use now but they say they don't yet have an interface cable to make them ELD compliant. One will be supplied for free for existing coustemers once they are available and the peramiters are defined closer to the deadline. Just read it on there website a couple weeks ago.

    But who knows?

Ok I will. I wanted to het the interface cable to start playing around with it before it's mandatory.
