    Star Transport was my first Driving Company, it was in my second year of employment with them, in 2015 they went bankrupt because they owed Swift Transportation money. They still owe me and my husband (who has now passed away,) our last paycheck and vacation pay. We were on vacation when swift called us and asked us to return the truck and join Swift Transportation. We tried for years to collect but kept receiving letters telling us the they filed full bankruptcy.

    Star Transport went under in 2013 (see my post from 10/2016j. Sounds like you were driving for Star Leasing which was a Fleet Operator under Swift.

    Doesn’t surprise me you didn’t get last check. Nobody did. They were broke. Did you get the $1000 Swift was offering for returning the truck to a Swift terminal?

    Vacation Pay? Tried for several years? With less than two years employment? Lol…just saying.
