I-5 North onto US101 North (Tumwater/Olympia,WA).
Exit Rt. and go under freeway Lt. 30mph turn drops you onto a somewhat steep grade in the left lane of 101,nearly impossible to merge and get over to the right with speeding cars coming on from I-5 South and impatient drivers behind you wanting to pass on your right. -
ALL of Oklahoma. they don't know what a slowdown ramp is/ 10 ft and theres a stop sign coming from a 70 mph turnpike.

I don't like the exit off I70 in Denver (Airport road) and the Flying J there sucks. The parking is tight and I've been there twice and got crappy service both times at Denny's.

I-10 and Loop 375 (Joe Battle/Americas Ave) in E. El Paso. Its a Frontage road to Frontage road interchange with No merge lanes for the cloverleaf ramps. Traffic often has to come to a stop and deal with long waits at the traffic light at Rojas when getting to Northound Loop 375 from I-10 and I-10 from Southound Loop 375. When I park my truck I will go the long way around and exit at Eastlake to avoid the mess. TexDOT is finally going to build a real interchange there.

Anytime I get to exit the interstate, I'm a happy man. I absolutely LOATHE driving on the interstates. I'll do it if I have to...if there is no other reasonable alternative...or if time prohibits me from staying out there on the 2-lane back country roads for the duration of my trip....but when I DO travel on the interstate, nothing brings a smile to my face quicker than getting to my exit.
You just miss so much on the interstate...which bypasses some of the most interesting sights this country has to offer. I know some people hate slowing down to pass through a small town, but I like to take the opportunity to enjoy the scenery...the historic buildings, the storefront displays, the people walking up and down the sidewalk...not to mention, every once in a while you'll spot a restaurant or a store that looks interesting with room enough to park the truck as you are feeling the need to grab a bite to eat or just stretch the old legs for a bit. Some places I've driven through, people still smile & wave at a stranger making his way through town.
The interstate? Yeah, you've got your truck stops & pickle parks...seen one ya seen 'em all.
That's one of the nice things about paying for my own fuel and not relying upon an industry fuel card....if a gas station has a diesel pump that I can get my truck to, it's a fuel stop...been a long time since I've rolled a tire onto an actual truck stop's parking lot.
Most of the roads I drive on don't have a breakdown lane, and a lot of them don't even have much of a shoulder. If there's even a fog line painted on the road, it's what I consider to be a "big road".
So yeah....ANY exit is a good exit. I don't "hate" a single one of 'em!

I-10E in Jacksonville FL Stockton St exit
No room to slow down for the hairpin, downhill exit ramp!
had to do that when I was in driving school..............good times! -
Git-on-git-off cloverleaf style. People gittin on are speeding up, people gittin off are slowing down and they're all trying to do it at the same merge point.
