It got me where I needed to go, wont argue that. But so does the free one. Between that and Google maps and an atlas I'm good. And when it comes to navigation I'm an idiot. Not knocking anyone for spending the money, if you like it thats great. Just sayin my peace. Id take one if they were cheaper. Spend the dough on a CB instead

I do not use the Google in cities at all for the most part. I like it as an over view and it shows me possible alternate routes and sometimes traffic jams, construction, accidents, etc. For me the satellite feature has been invaluable so far. I can see which direction i will probably be approaching, learn landmarks, and just know what I'm about to drive into. For a new driver like me it's awesome.

One of my codriver would randomly use maps GPS and had problems with no truck routes and low bridges. Lol

I don’t have one I use google maps #### my life. I used to have garmin I hated it at the time now I’d kill someone for one. I ended up on a single lane dirt road in the Arizona desert! I got to a point where I literally couldn’t keep moving steep dirt hill I had to back up in the desert. That was a bad day not to mention I wasted 2 hours driving 2 mph I had to back for at least a mile just to find hard enough clear area to back into. Thank you google maps I recommend you don’t use them although they do route me around traffic and accidents saved many hours taking a small detour and I’m a pro. Desert king ice road trucker they call me round these parts. I’ve heard randy McNally’s are the best tho

I have the Rand McNally TND 740 and I love it. Bought a newer Garmin once and hated it so I returned it. Never depend on Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps because those are the ones that some use and they hit bridges, go on bridges that can't handle the weight, onto boardwalks, on the beach and so on.

    Goodluck with your choice
