Maybe at some mega carrier paying a buck a mile where the goal is to pay the truck just enough to tread water, but not enough to be able to have a life outside the truck.
What happened to smoke stacks?

We tried one truck with a weed burner exhaust. One. That was enough.
It had an A model 3406 and after the first week the driver said he felt like a smoked ham but didn't smell nearly as good. He was also coughing a lot.
We replaced the driver-smoker with twin stacks...like God intended trucks to have.
MACK E-6 Thanks this. -

I think it was on this forum where I read about a guy that took the truck out on the toad without knowing his actual clearance. He said he knew he was good becuase someone else told him his truck height. Seems like that’s the theme with a lot of people on herespyder7723 and AModelCat Thank this.

He figured that part out real quick. He even volunteered to work in the shop to help change the exhaust.
He said the only good part about it was that the mosquitos didn't bother him much.
Those old A models smoked like a tugboat.MACK E-6 Thanks this.
