Nice trucks. Don't see many of those anymore.

No. I didn't have my phone with me at the time, but when I was at the Flying J in Shuniah, ON yesterday, there were five, almost-identical white Volvos sitting at the pumps, all lined up perfectly. It made me chuckle because I'm always talking about "keeping the hoods alive" with other of our drivers.

I just hate that Manitoba has length restrictions on tractors. If we want to pull 53' trailers, the tractor can't be longer than 244". So 389's are hard to manage without expensive permits.

Man, I sold my 06 Columbia at 1.6 million miles with a Detroit. never had been rebuilt and only added a gallon of oil every 12 to 15 thousand. Running a dedicated lane I averaged 9.1. I drive for fuel economy. Somehow I convinced myself I was so good at driving I could put a 2018 Cascadia close to 10.5 or even 11 since I am running a closed loop dedicated run, and light at that. I lost a full half mpg and I have to buy def to boot. It's no laughing matter either. Biggest single mistake I have ever made in this business.

Sell the cascadia and get another one? Those trucks are a dime a dozen. Problem is finding a clean one.

And just think when the dpf starts acting up and choosing you money. That 06 didn't even have one.

Lol. Idk. Think I'm going to drive this POS to 300,000 or whenever the dash lights start flashing. What ever comes first. Then re evaluate. I'm quite honestly disgusted at myself. What a boob.

Yep. Kinda goes back to the original question of this thread. Putting stacks on these trucks is like lipstick on a pig. Just rusted elbows and broken clamps to worry about that as far as I can tell serve no purpose anyway. Oh well. The future is here and let's just say I'm not quite convinced enough to hump a tree anytime soon.

New Mexico has been a windy ##### today. I'm at the big petro at the 79 mm. One of the times I'm glad I pull a tank ;)

Beautiful trucks. I would work for your boss. Not one that puts me in a Columbia. Been there done that. Life is too short to drive junk.
