10-4. And if you're lucky, they might even get them straight and not steal all your bungees.

Im in Van Horn now. Got about 115mi to my delivery so I'll be out of here at 5:45am.

Would only give them 20. Just enough to pin them.
    I use rope on tarps.

Ive had enough of their terrible tarping, so Ive resorted to telling them to only bungee up the ends to get it off the tires and throw like 3 straps. I'll do the rest. The result is I saved 45min today doing it myself without having to fix their f ups and its tighter and better looking.

Now, about using rope. Got any pics? Ive thought about trying some rubber rope or paracord, but I wanna see how its done 1st.

Still use some bungees to pin the ends and flaps.
What brand trailer you pull? I have a western trailer.
Use loop end straps, the trailer has fixed hooks and winches. Also has rope hooks under the rail. I don’t have a true rub rail. Deck is flat to 102, do have stake pockets.

If you have D rings on your tarp, better to use shock cord. D rings can cut rope if it flaps in wind. My tarps have web loops in place of D rings.
If you want, pm a number, I’ll send some pics of the loads.

Ask one them mexicans down in south texas pulling flatbed. Most them guys use rope and their #### good at it. I never could figure it out. Bungee seems much easier

So I wake up after a beautiful night's sleep near Scofield, UT and deliver a trailer to the coal mine. Seemed like the paved road was near 20% getting up there (I had light Jake's coming downhill bobtail to keep it at the 30 mph speed limit).

No cell phone connection until I got to Spanish Fork. Dispatch told me to hang tight. They were working on a power only to get me back. I got the call to roll within an hour, picking up an empty reefer in West Valley City...wait for it...

    ...at Swift!!!???

Dang. Been years since I loathed going into that terminal. This time I discovered there's a separate entrance for deliveries and 3rd party companies, so I bypassed the headache of waiting to get inspected.

After I deliver this trailer in Rancho Cucamonga tomorrow the FIRST thing I'm going to do is go talk to dispatch and demand an embarrassment bonus! But on the bright side there was plenty of chatter on the CB from guys trying to catch up to Swift!

"####! When did Swift get 389's!!!???"

Neither. I drop it at one of their customers for a dedicated gig.
