    You are right it cant last for ever... I was just amazed when i typed in reefer freight from arizona to the midwest. My jaw hit the floor at the posted rates.... Just makes a guy think about some options... Especially when i change reefer out with flatbed and theres only 8 loads total that are 1.60 a mile... Maybe one day i will have 1 trailer of each and can chase hot rates but for the time being i think its best i just stay with flatbed. Especially first starting out on my own authority... Thank you guys for the good info that was posted about van/reefer rates

    You need to push that flatbed a little farther east……. Midwest to northeast down to mid Atlantic. Not $5 a mile now but rates are not $1.60

    I dont really have any desire to run that far east. Nor have i had much luck finding anything good out of the East when i would run over the road... Im thinking i just gonna run around the midwest.. Just watching the boards and finding some good lanes in the meantime...

    No they are crazy expensive for new ones... Only old ones are available and everybody that is knowledgable about reefers has told me to stay away from used ones... So i take their advice.
