The thing about whisky and the marketing of whisky is that it is cyclical as what is considered a premium high dollar brand. Back in the late 90s Old forester was a cheap bottom shelf whiskey at 10 bucks for the 1.75L bottle now it's top shelf at 60 to 80 for a .750L bottle. Canadian Club whisky back in 1985 was a super-premium marketed on par with a Chevas Reagle today Canadian Club still taste the same, but it is now bottom shelf selling for $17.50 for 1.75L back in 85 it was $20 for a .750L. So, try some cheap Canadian Club it will surprise you how good it is for being a bargain.D.Tibbitt, DeereRunner97, Rideandrepair and 7 others Thank this.
