@Moose1958 My home is about 4 -5 miles south as the crow flies from the AA training center and museum. Their HQ is on the other side of 360.

 

She is headed to DFW and over the Atlantic right now. She will stay the night there overnight and unless her schedule gets changed will be back here tomorrow night.

 

My dad would fly AA from DFW into Heathrow then take a jumper up to Aberdeen at least two times a month, working in the North Sea oil play for about 20 years before retirement in the early 90s.

 

Oh the crapcadia life. Such a costly repair.

When all this Covid stuff finally stops we have plans to go spend some time either in the LA area or maybe flying on into Hawaii. Still just watching her flight online. Looks like right now they are about 1/3 the way from the UK to Newfoundland. I see weather in front of them.

Today an International LT developed an emissions system problem. According to people familiar with the incident, it involves the DEF system. It is unknown if any other systems are involved. Sources inside the parts department say they can’t offer any hope for the foreseeable future. Rumors are spreading that the local white hat is considering a computer solution. This is unconfirmed at press time. A source close to the situation says it could be several hours to clear the problem and get things moving again.
