What if it Snows?

Y'all see... That splurge on Pizza deal has already paid off for Dave.

The girls at guard shack nice as can be. Like really nice and polite. Had to don my vest in front of them. Ok. Procedure here is drop YOUR trailer in a spot, not a door and get lost. They will put in a door and unload. They hand you a list of truckstops nearby to go take a much needed space because god forbid you stay on property. I asked why they do this and am told safety so nobody gets run over. I’m of the opinion that if you get run over in a parking lot it is absolutely 1000% your fault. Tough doo doo. Anyways…….

After you drop you walk paperwork inside receiving office. They won’t talk through holes in glass due to Covid. So you call a number. I call no answer. There is a guy at a desk farther back who sees me and doesn’t care. I am staying away feom glass to respect their hysteria. Unmasked because F them already for this BS. I call again and hear the phone ring. Now I’m really pissed because he heard it the first time and did nothing.

A nice polite girl answers and is confused when I say I have a delivery and I was dropping off paperwork. Turns out she is off to the side of window and was refilling her water bottle the first time I called. She apologized and I laughed it off. BUT, why couldn’t the jerkoff at the desk tell her I was out there? Too busy using a highlighter. So I hope he breaks his ankle getting up from his desk. And here I sit 2 miles away waiting for permission from daddy to retrieve my trailer.

If I wanted to, once they get on the ground and she turns off airplane mode I can track her location on the iPhone, but I respect her privacy better than that!

 

I knew I was setting myself up for that when I posted. Figured what the heck hope it makes others smile too.

 

It was a load of pillows. Close pick up and a nice load back home. They got me Dave, they got me good. If those girls hadn’t been so darn nice and professional I probably would have made a scene. Especially with diphead at his desk.

 

I think I know my issue today. I bought one of these at 3:30am as part of my dinner then went to bed. Woke up and was cleaning up and found it melted…..I forgot about it. It was a tragic loss.

 

At $21 my head light is fixed. Now I have a front corner out on my trailer. Smh. Plus it's hazmato, 50 miles left to move in the morning.
