Tanker yanking has been going so good the last few months that I forgot about the other part. Finally got my TWIC card. So now I got to go to Houston. And to make it even better, it's been taining all afternoon. So I'm now parked at the Flying J in Pasadena, Tx in a pay to park slot. Had to sit here til the place next to me got taken to watch my hood.
Got to load in the am and then I m out of here.

Cc cob had it's own real yard in channel view before that big water dumping hurricane hit. They said the tanks floated around and the water was 4+ feet. I used to drop the trailer and go get tacos. I really liked tacos down there.

Sure it is. Just like any other news agency.
    Actual facts were reported.

    News update;
A computer literate technician has performed the “special emissions calibration” and the equipment now operates. However the gauges that warn of impending doom no longer provides information.

Them folks are real touchy about chemicals use and disposal. Even about oil you drain and the petroleum leavings that come off by steam cleaning.
We sold our forklift business, and some helpful ####### snitched. So we paid for a man to come to Tupelo from Laurel (the lab was there) and gather a quart jar of dirt from nearby drainage ditch.
Result was we had to shallow scoop with a backhoe; the bottom of the ditch, and have Waste Mgmt. cart it down to Houston, MS and dump it in their landfill. Was not toxic nor hazardous from the lab results. I have a stack of papers an inch thick of the tests, negative and all from a wash rack.
I asked how deep to scoop. Quote.
He said: "Just take a shallow scoop, then grasp a hand full of the dirt beneath. Smell of it, and if does not smell of petroleum, then it clear." I told him fine.
Had a buddy with a tractor loader/hoe come over and scoop. The morning he started to scoop, called the inspector and told him to come and grasp and smell. as I wanted to be correct. So he did grudgingly as he said I could have done it OK . Could see him appearing a month later and it not be OK.
The best about $500.00 I have ever spent, as I have in writing the premises are/were fine. Lab was almost as much as Waste Mgmt. disposal.
Repacked a leaking cylinder for the buddy. Barter I can do.

Now some humor: Waste Mgmt. dropped us a 20 foot dumper. I asked the driver. How much can I put in it? He said: All you want to, not over the top.
So we filled it nearly full. Came to get. Wound up the slack and his Mack came up off the ground. I ask, Too much? He says no, if I can get it up,
I'll haul it away. Hold One... I fired up a 12,000 pound capacity forklift and got under the ground end. I lifted, he winched, we kept the Mack level till
it counter balanced and boosted him right up there. Thing was full of sandy soil wet with oily/greasy moisture. I have NO IDEA of its weight.

I got to play with rolloff dumpsters a few times when I drove for a construction company. I’ve pulled cans on the truck that were way overloaded. If he couldn’t get it on the truck without help, it’s at least 10,000 lbs too heavy.

Yes... Find my phone once followed a friends adult kids from Tupelo to Harrisburg, PA. He was giving up driving due to health constraints and had this little 2014 Honda CRV with 32,000 miles. They flew down, visited, and departed. Was going thru B'ham on I 22 then north.I suggested I22, MS 23, AL 24 to Decatur, catch US72 there on to I24/I40 , I40 on to Knoxville and hit their I81. They did and we tracked/texted as they traveled.
The daughter told me to tell Daddy, "The little CRV does well at 80."
Pore thing had never been over 55 since new.
