I can’t take my son with me at WE. Recruiter lied about the age he could go. That is a huge point. It kinda spelled the end for me when I realized that. I committed myself to learn all I could and finish the year doing the best job I could. About 5 days left...
Also I know I can make what I am now or more without being a trainer. I’m exhausted and fat since I’m always in a truck that’s moving. No inverter, no fridge etc... I need real food, better sleep, and I need to some exercise. Those are the other issues.
I’ve been so pleased with the Bloomington yard and the people I work with. I will definitely miss them and I’ll also make sure I leave the door open if I ever needed to return. I value them that much. But...I can do better.
Awhile back I posted on here that I’ve already made my decision. I have to wait till I finish my first year...and then I can apply and get to work. I’ll update in the next couple of weeks...I just don’t want to post about it and then not get approved and be like duuuhhhhhhhh.

My DM will most likely let me roll by my house for a 10. Couple things I need to do there...lovesthedrive Thanks this. -
Right. And the only place you hit on your entire glorious, albeit somewhat overused, body, is that exact spot.
It is friggin amazing.
I had a spot on my hand for a couple of weeks, and I swear, it never would heal because every time I F up, it was on that hand.

I actually promise my drivers that they will not be away from home for more than 5 days at a time. If I have a job out of town longer than that I ask them if they want it...no pressure to take it...if they choose to say yes, after day 5 they will also make on top of their normal salary, an extra $400 per day, on top of their hourly wages, and the $175 per day they get every day doing out of town work for their LOA. For those who don't know what LOA is it's Living Out Allowance. Pays for their motel and meals....if they spend less than that they get to keep the extra.RidgeRunner731, dwells40, Lepton1 and 2 others Thank this.

So got wrapped up talking to some hotshotter wannabes in another thread. Are all hotshotters ####ing stupid or is it just me? I'm kinda hoping it's me.
Bud A., lovesthedrive, thelushlarry and 3 others Thank this.
