I was wanting to do the same as well. Just need to do more reasearch into how to do it. You do all that stuff yourself or you have an accountant?

I did it myself, now have accountant pay taxes out on 15th.
Just get a business checking account, and all business income goes into that account, pay yourself a reasonable salary out of your business bank account

I had / have a CPA.....$600 a year and I simply paid myself out of net proceeds. Both my lawyer and my CPA said paying myself as an employee was not necessary and just created more paperwork.

I’m trying to wiggle this one into the garage. Hoping the old man doesn’t die, or start scrapping his yard full of cars. It’s a 68 GT. They came with everything from a slant six to a 340. 1967 was a transition yr. Last of the original 273 small blocks, and first 318,340s. Same block. A 340 is ideal, slightly larger bore, and 4 bolt mains. A 318 is so close to a 340, and plenty available, plenty tough. The Dart GTS was a 383 package, that was detuned, about 30 hp. from the factory. The 440 GTS was just an obscene creation for 1969. I’d love to have one. Saw a 4 door sleeper in TX while back. Granny’s car with a transplanted 440. Wanted 10k for it. Sounds like fun. They’re cheap to build, lots of used parts available from 1967-1976. I think I could get this one for $600, new fender, new interior, windshield, drivetrain, it’s a lot. But can be done affordably. Small enough to fit in garage, and still have working room. It’s no different than a Challenger, Corvette, Camaro or Mustang. Perfect small block cars. Handling and stopping are affected with the heavy big blocks installed. Only good for bragging rights. Rather have a nice handling small block car.

OTR will always be there in the future. Time flies by so fast. Especially while Trucking. Sometimes time drags by slowly for those at home, while your gone. Once they’re grown, the happy memories are all that’s left from this time. Priceless.

I was looking for one of 2 cars for the first car I purchased, as apposed to the one pops gave me. 68 to 73 Dart/Valiant actually wanted the find a little old lady slant 6/auto so the body had not been tweaked. Then hit the wrecking yards and MOPAR catalogue for upgrades to include 340 6 pack.

Ended up finding the other choice first. 1978 Ford Fairmont with factory 302. Similar to this one. Was basically a 5.0 Mustang in a different wrapper
