Think I will just take Freightliner and bring trailer back and call this week a wash.

I was taking Isosorbide 30MG in the AM, doctor wants me to break it in half and take 15 MG a day for 3 months. Then stop taking it. This is a nitrate. I am also taking Metoprolol succinate 50 MG that the doc wants me to start cutting back on in 3 months. I already have a new RX coming for that one. He refuses to consider cutting back on the Hydrochlorothiazide 25 MG I am also taking. I'm on a 1500 MG limit on sodium as it is. I also have a problem with Orthostatic hypotension and even got dizzy this morning before Keri go up bending over searching inside the fridge crisper. If I bend over far enough and hold that position for much over 30 seconds I will faint! This is something Keri has had to learn. To never move anything in my kitchen from where I left it. Trust me, folks, this is hard for a female to do! So I'm slowly coming off the meds. Doc said it could take a while AND that was conditioned on my recovery.

While I am on the subject one of my old friends from Georgia had a bad M.I. late yesterday. His wife said he had what's called the "widowmaker" and he was lucky he survived. He is recovering and expected to be OK. I told her to call Nurse Ratched!

Update: Starter works. Maybe wire to ECM. Maybe crankshaft position sensor. Called road service hoping to at least get started or point me in direction of the problem. He shows up WITHOUT his computer. So he’s useless. Called him from the request of the one I really wanted. Both of them are swamped. It started to pour.

F it. Called tow truck. Had a nice chat as he is the second generation owner. We know the same people. Nice guy. Freightliner had sensors in stock. Picked those up. Want them for spares even if that isn’t the issue. This week is officially dead. Maybe Thursday or Friday we can start playing catch up.

3 months no breakdowns on a unknown history turd truck. I have been able to fix everything on days off. Not gonna lie. Hurt my pride being on the hook. Well, not too much. It was pouring down rain after all.

I am still waging a paperwork war to renew my dot card.

Travel agent is pissed, and taking it out on me by letting the part timers use my assigned truck.

The phrase "One failed physical from the unemployment line" keeps running through my mind.

I'm so sick of having to prove myself worthy to pursue my profession, to people who are in "cover their ###" mode, and every year, they come up with a new hoop to jump through.

Last Wednesday, I was qualified to drive.

    This Wednesday, I am not.

    And nothing has changed.....

And I know, "If I took better care of myself, wouldn't be in this bind now."

    Yeah, well I don't, I didn't, and that's all there is.

End of rant. I've been chain-drinking coffee at WH, time to go home.......

Next election; vote for another man for supervisor, as present one can't or won't pull ditches and clear out culvert ends. Unless he is kin..
Then get some more rock on your driveway.....

    Fat girls are happy girls...
    Chubby girls are cheerful girls...
    Chunky girls are pleasant girls...
Slender, curvaceous girls are hard to get next too...
    Just an observation.

Here is a perfect example why people talk shizz on mechanics and roadside service.

Road service shows up without a laptop. Doesn’t offer to go get one. The manager calls for payment and says they are located right down the road and the tech should have went back and got the computer. Well, he didn’t and didn’t offer. Tech told him I declined. Nope. We never discussed that. Guy was there for 15 minutes maybe. Manager even said he would have came out to help fix depending what was found.

So manger says since I live close keep them in mind as another option. And proceeds to give me a $227 invoice for a tech showing up unprepared and lying or imagining a conversation that never happened. Yea, sure let me make you guys my #1 choice of repair shops. I swear this is something I’d expect from TA.

Totally get it. You avoid seventeen accidents just getting on the freeway. Smooth out endless bull##it. And people that worry about how sharp their pencil is are able to affect your life.
