Bearded Fish Tacos?

 

Used to deliver ingots to a place in Colorado. West side, older little industrial area. They did forge work. One of the products was Craftsman tools. Mostly wrenches.

Wow. Workplace ##### slaps should be acceptable when someone is found to be incompetent. Maybe with mechanics, smash fingers with their favorite ratchet.

I got to use my only Snap On tool today, mini torch. Just bought it a few weeks ago. I like it a lot. Best one I have used. Was struggling with the last one I had bought recently and thought it was me as I’m far from a mechanic.

Bought a Dewalt grease gun. The f’ing spring doesn’t compress straight up and down so once you remove the plunger the first time…..thats it. Barely got it out of tube to begin with. Pretty angry about that one. Will call them on Monday.

 

Nothing a little solder and some tape can’t fix.

No way. Did it the proper way. New connectors. Heat shrink. Then tape. If any water gets in there it deserves to be there LOL.

 

I have always liked the combo crimp and solder connectors. The solder is usually low temp, with enough to do a good job. Then use a quality silicone sealant followed by heat shrink.

 

Thats the ones I used. I like them because you can crimp first and they stay in place. The solder only ones I have messed up a few because I didn’t realize the wire slipped out. These were Grote brand, Made in USA. Most of their smaller stuff is made in china.
