JB Hunt trailer dropped next to me. Power only driver comes in, slams into trailer. Drags the landing gear 2-3 feet then does the same in reverse. Takes off. I see him on the ramp. Tandems all the way back. I’m pretty sure I heard him curb it in the way out.
But hey, he was dressed fly as hEll. Even had a yellow headset that probably never comes off.

Ooh, double drop. Nice, hope you get good use out of it.

I actually gave a bit longer look than I should have at an RGN that was available at the dealer where I got my flat. But, decided to let discretion be the better part of valor and went with a standard flat so I could maintain some familiarity while I work on the other aspects of being an O/O. Learn the business before trying to get specialized in it.

Also feel you on the finance thing. Really put me on pins/needles when I started the buying process of my trailer on a Friday morning. Was a long weekend hand wringing about paperwork.

No, not working it yet. No real excuse other than being lazy to be honest. I do have to reduce the size of an awning shelter on the back side of my house because as it stands I can't get my truck/trailer OUT of where I have it parked without doing so. Hard to explain without a bunch of pictures and diagrams LOL

Although I need to find out where the hell my trailer plate is, since I should have received it already.

I plan to be out on the road by the start of next month.

5 skids and two more stops at 10 AM?

By that time today I had about 11 of my 21 stops on a 48’ delivered, with 5 pickups to do after that.

Fortunately I don’t have any of those “sit and wait for hours” kind of places, at least not the ones that make a habit of it, unless it’s us that screwed up.
