Mechanical 35 ton, got an aluminum deck and pullouts. Don't plan to haul anything crazy with it. Just getting my feet wet and moving up from flat/stepdeck. . Got some work for it lined up with some relatives that need some smaller construction/jobsite equipment moved around the southwest so figured I could help them out and see how things go. Couldnt bring myself to splurge on a brand new flat or step and just purely work off the boards with the rates I've been seeing on there

Showed up at burger king just in time to watch the cows get butchered. Guy has got like 6 bags of food now, still waiting for more. Screaming kids everywhere... yes I'm that hungry.

Worst I've ever driven truck in was HEAVY snow, the kind that falls sideways at about 65 mph. Anywhere it decided to stop varied in depth from 8 inches to 3 feet. Visibility was about 10 feet beyond my hood mirrors.

Gotta love the Snow-Chi-Min trail in WY-O-MING!!!

But the weirdest weather ive ever seen was in Wilder, KY. I think its called a micro burst. I was inside at a shipper checking in, as I walked out to return to my truck it started to sprinkle. Within 4 steps it was coming down so hard I couldnt see the 75 yards to my truck. I took off running like the devil himself was on my heels. By time I got to the truck I was soaked to the bone and the previously dry parking lot was over 1 in deep with water. Before I could shuck out of my wet clothes it was completely clear skies and sunny again. Only ever experienced something like it just that once. Ive since learned that it's pretty common back there... In my part of the country we dont get that much tain in 2 months... Let alone 2 minutes.

Old adage.. "Still water runs the deepest.." Lots can be learned by "humbly' listening to 'more informed" folks.
Also, people who think they know everything are particularly annoying to those of us who do.

so you have ramps on your tractor for that trailer ? If you are going to pull a mechanical neck trailer - you need to have really good ramps to pick up the trailer and save your truck.

If you need help just reach out
