What if it Snows?

Just to find out he was getting used because nobody else would put her on their shoulders.

 

I was drawn back into something that was said a long time ago, I was still in school, working afterwards at a service station.(We really don’t have them anymore another thing of the past.)
Anyway, there was an empty lot next door, and this farmer had an old truck he had two guys driving, it never stopped, two loads/unloads back and forth to Memphis, scrap, take forever to load but they’d come get fuel at the diesel pump, having to throw the nozzle under truck to fuel both tanks.

This one always bragged how much money they were making driving that old Transtar Cabover.
After he got fuel one day, said he was tired, wasn’t going to make it, asked if I’d wake him up in 3 hours, he’s was going to park in that lot.

I got busy changing oil and stuff, so it was 3.5 hours, I walked over, a kid of 16ish, Noticed his windows were down in the summer, I knocked on his door and he came out of the bunk with, “You SOB I’m tired of running my ### #### self to death and not making any money.”
I don’t know who or what he was dreaming about....

Now that I think back...
Maybe I should’ve used that as an educational course?

Didn't check the weather page before I made the decision to not finish up unloading the last bit of dirt last night.

Been taining all morning and looks like it will carry through into tomorrow. Guess I'll throw a tarp over the dirt in the pickup it and call it a day.

 

The OM has authorized tacos.
