I’m pretty well certain that’s the issue, because I’m always on her about too much heat. After all, I’m the one that has to clean the pots after everything gets welded to the bottom.

At least snakes are big enough to take a load of buck shot, as opposed to the objects of my nightmares.

Not this bad, but there always seems to be an issue with everything no matter how simple. Drives me nuts and bananas.

Alive, dead, cooked…..it doesn’t matter to me. I’ll stomp and cuss it in whatever state it is. I hate snakes, spiders and bats. And hair in and around sinks.

Should I be concerned? I asked Keri for a hotel receipt so I could give her money back. She did not couch surf as I was told would happen. Her face turned white as a sheet when I asked her for it. Then after I started laughing she threw a spoon at me!

Anyone that has poured a rancher’s barn slab with one of those — handling 3 pallets worth of cement, shoveling the sand and aggregate and bucketing the water because it’s supposed to be a cost saver — will tell you that the glamour of Old Arn fades quickly after the first load — not that I would know about such things

I spent several years in southern California while in the Air Force. I have heard that warning rattle several times. Mostly at night walking on a road. This is why I always carried a flashlight and a stick. The primary danger of snakebite is when the rattler has no rattles. I came VERY close to getting bit by a Southern Pacific because of this.

Sacramento is having a grilled cheese festival. I’m a fan of the sandwich but fall short of considering it festival worthy. Seems like a lame excuse for a party. I’m thinking the abuse of recreational narcotics is out of control in the nest.
