Yep. Lol. Man when your in your 20's and 30's it's full steam ahead. When you hit 50 all of a sudden new issues that you have never dealt with before arise. It never ends! Lol!
I always appreciated how Dave took the time and sacrificed for his pops years ago. Come to find out it's just what you do. I'm looking forward to it honestly. Hope my son returns the favor. Lol

No; but you need to get the card out, go buy $50.00 net of something you need/want. Then put the card back where you had it in limbo.

I forget exactly, but in 2013 a bank I had put the proceeds of my house sale in; as a CD, gave me the offer to take a debit card, use it 12 times, and they would add $100.00 to my checking account. I got the card, went and charged as close to 1 dollar each 12 times at my local Walmart. Did this in a 2 week period. It all processed, deposit was made, charges was against the bank account so I netted the $100 less the just over $12.00 I had charged.
Card was cut up as soon as statement arrived. I did the same with these fools who mail me stuff with a nickel in it. I take the nickel, toss the solicitation.
Then there is the $1.00 and sometime a $2.00 check. Same action. One actually sent me a nice crisp $1.00 bill last week. Same.
Do not shame me for this. I have charities I contribute to each and every year. Cancer, a burn center, MD, a children's hospital, some local rehabs.
My church and 3K on the building renovation fund. It is just getting one; with a nickel, and the playing on the pity strings and it's outside printed large:
