What if it Snows?

Yeah it's just absolutely insane, and the fish have pretty well reestablished and know how to get around the dams on the ladders, so now let's screw everything up for fishing rights that barely get used....great plan.

I try to not be critical of the actions of people in other states, but this is one though where that is hard to not do. One thing that will always bother me is how short-sided people can be when it comes to planning. I have no knowledge of these rivers, especially the Klamath, but when I see those words flood control I know at some point there will be a once-in-a-century flood that will kill hundreds if not thousands and destroy BILLIONS of dollars worth of property. To me, this kind of silliness is akin to the state not allowing the power companies to clear their power lines but blaming them when fires start AND getting pissed at them when the winds force them to de-energize those lines.

 

Home from Virginia wake up to gravy enhanced breakfast temperature in the high 50s going to be 80 today just another great summer day. There might actually be a break in deiceing fluid business (about time) I’m working on old arn the rest of the week next week is vacation.

 

Crew scheduling just contacted Keri, and she is about an hour from leaving here to get on a flight headed to the west coast. She send them an email last night after her doctor cleared her to return to work. This will be a test to see if she can stand on that ankle. I am in hope that she can because she still has almost 17 years before she can retire. So at least for the next few days, I am alone!

Keri has one of her older uniforms on. Honestly, she has lost some weight, I guess the less weight on her ankle the better!

 

It is about that time

 

So currently at the "last" chemo treatment. Though I do go home with a pump. Bring that back Friday. CT scan is set for Saturday and doctor appointment on the 14th.

Should see the surgeon shortly after that. Surgeon likes to wait 4-6 from the last chemo. Before the surgery. So should be in the hospital by the first half of August.
