I've been on vacation all week.

Tuesday I went to my DOT and drug screen for the new "local" job.

Wednesday, Missus Skillet and I drove to our son's place in Columbus, went to dinner with him and his girlfriend, then went to a place with vintage arcade games, then back to his place to spend some time chatting, and visiting with our "furry grandson".

The rest of the time has been about hunkering down in the bunker, cooking food, watching movies, drinking seltzer, and staying cool.

I don't go back out until Tuesday.....

Back in the day when I actually went to the dentist semi faithfully I stopped using fluoride. Doc asked me what I was doing as there was a negative change. I told him and he called me a dumb-###. Said teeth need SOME flouride. The amount in toothpaste isn’t anywhere near harmful and isn’t like all the conspiracy theories and quack docs say. So I started using it again but also fell in love with Monster. And now I’ve effed up what my parents spent a lot of time and money to perfect.

My dentist told me to use enamel rebuilding toothpaste. So I use Sensodyne Pronamel.

We've been diverted to the local indigenous grocery store for supplies.

Would that discount grocery store be a Winco?

As to the rest of the plan, go get smoker, stop for groceries, get something to try on your new smoker, then grab a slice of pie to eat now, and a whole pie for the house.

The OM let you start an epic mega trip with little or no supplies onboard?

That sounds like a pretty good plan. Shall have to implement with a change of grocery store from Winco to Grocery Outlet. The place that has Pork loin for $2.45 a pound and Boneless skinless breasts for $2.20 per pound. Or perhaps could stop by the old smart and final food service (that changed it's name when it got bought out by UNFI, I just cant remember the new name) for the full loins at a tad over $2 per pound and a big ol wholesale/full sized brisket............

The other half and the very pregnant daughter took the blue bomber into town to look for trinkets for the soon to be pup and to outfit the trailer—they just rolled in I have a hard time believing that they could have packed so much #### into a 1/2 ton pickup— they’re dangerous when they get together
