    What’s wrong with people?

    We’ve added a new 800 number, 988…
Students going back to school are having to mentally prepare.

Then it shows someone who has to take 14 hours during a semester.
A semester is like 15 weeks, right?
You can’t do 14 hours school, out of 15 weeks?

    so 15 week X 7 days=105 days. 105 x 24 hours= 2520 and they can’t find 14 hours?

How I explained the college hours thing to my kids this way- when you take15 college hours they are the amount of time you spend in class per week during a normal semester. To be successful and earn A's and B's you need to spend at least 2x of class time studying outside of class time- example: reading the textbook on what the professor is going to be covering before the class. Then spending time to rewrite your notes from class and rereading what was covered after class. So, when taking 15 hours means you need to be working 45 hours a week (15 hours in class plus 30 hours outside of class) if you want A's.

I never did any of that, I took notes during class when they were going over it, and used that.

But we didn’t have mobile school then.
I never rewrote any of notes.

Maybe that’s why I’m just a measly freight relocation specialist instead of something more important.

@Judge you shouldn’t think of yourself as a measly freight relocation specialist you are an important part of the supply chain you know the broken supply chain that is blamed for everything. Therefore you might be broken but not measly.

What is funny and sad is that being smart has nothing to do with good grades or being good at what you do, it all comes down to the amount of effort you put into it, creates the measured outcome both good and bad.

And the time not spent partying hard and waking up from being drunk and not knowing where you are helps, some sorority parties went overboard.

Exactly, I used to give guitar lessons part time and whenever a student started doubting themselves about how they were progressing. Saying things like " I just don’t have any musical talents". I'd say me neither I'm just a compulsive player. I practice constantly and that's what every great musician does.
